BELLE GLADE, Fla. -

Two people were injured after reports of a drive-by shooting that happened Saturday night near NW Avenue G and NW 16th Street in Belle Glade.

When deputies arrived, two victims were located as well as two unharmed witnesses who were in the area with the victims.

Officials say the four were hanging out, drinking for about one to two hours when a newer model, 4-door, silver or gray Nissan with dark tinted windows turned on the street and multiple shots were fired from the vehicle.

Officials say it is believed that the passenger of the vehicle was a black male, but the other occupants are unknown.

One victim was shot twice, the other was shot once. Both victims were taken to Delray Medical center for non life-threatening injuries.
