2 injured in road rage shooting

Gunman fires at car on I-75

MIAMI – The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a gunman who shot at another vehicle on Interstate 75 in an apparent road rage incident.

The shooting happened just south of Northwest 138th Street about 5 a.m. Sunday.

Police say four men leaving PT's Showclub in Hialeah got into an argument with two men who they believed were following them.

"They took I-75 north. Another vehicle got along side of them and shot at them seven times. One of the bullets struck two of the passengers in the back of the vehicle," said Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Joe Sanchez. "Now usually at that time, I-75 northbound, there's a lot of people heading back home, so there's no doubt that somebody saw something."

Both men were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital. One was already released.

Management for the club didn't report an incident there.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
