FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

Two men were caught on surveillance video robbing a Fort Lauderdale convenience store at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred at the Stop N Go on Northwest 31st Avenue late Thursday night.

Surveillance video shows the masked gunmen enter the store while the clerk and a customer were talking.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said one of the gunmen demanded cash from the register, while the other forced the 57-year-old customer to the floor and stole his wallet.

Emdad Chaklader was the clerk behind the counter that night. He told Local 10's Terrell Forney that he was scared for his life. Chaklader said he was able to trigger a silent alarm, but the gunmen got away before deputies arrived.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call detectives at 954-321-4738 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
