2 men caught on camera robbing Market 54 in Miami

MIAMI – Police are investigating a robbery that was caught on camera May 3 at the Market 54 at 6355 NW Seventh Ave.

The Miami Police Department said two armed black men stormed the store just before 6:30 a.m. The men pretended to be customers as they approached the clerk and then one of the man pulled out a gun and demanded money from the register.

The second suspect can be seen on camera jumping over the counter and pushing the clerk away from the register. He sifts through the drawer and hands the other man a gun.

Police said the suspects ran left the store headed west on Northwest 65th Street.

One suspect is described as being full-bearded, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was seen wearing a red shirt, checkered shorts, gray sneakers and a black watch with a silver or white outer ring.

The second suspect is described as being between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and between 140 and 160 pounds. He has a light mustache and some gold teeth. He was seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants and gray shoes.

Anyone with any information on the suspects or their whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement.
