2 men cut hole in wall, rob Miami Beach liquor store

Police: Men make off with expensive bottles of liquor, $500 in cash

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. ā€“ Surveillance video captured two men robbing a liquor store on Miami Beach early Tuesday morning.

Beginning at about 3:30 a.m., cameras at Liquored Up, 1435 Collins Ave., catch some movement through the shelves.

A man with a T-shirt over his face slides out through the wall and then helps his masked buddy make it through as well.

"You see them coming out like a snake," said owner David Buzaglo. "After you see them walking like a fox behind the counter, then they try to get the cash from the register."

Buzaglo Ā said the men cut a hole into a wall of his business through a hotel that was under renovation next door. They spent 25 minutes inside his store, and for an unknown reason, his alarms never went off.

Cameras caught the men leaving with expensive bottles of liquor, and the business' cash registers, which contained $500 in cash. Police said the empty registers were found torn apart inside the hotel next door.
