POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -

A woman and her 2-year-old daughter were taken to a hospital late Monday morning after a single-vehicle rollover crash during a downpour.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue said the Lauderdale Lakes woman was driving an SUV west in the 6000 block of West McNab Road just before noon when the vehicle hydroplaned and flipped onto its side.

North Lauderdale Fire Rescue took the driver and her child to University Medical Center in Tamarac for treatment of minor injuries.

Officials said the child was in a car seat at the time of the crash.

Two westbound lanes of McNab Road were closed for about an hour after the crash.
