2 women accused of running prostitution ring

Sara Marin, Denise McCoy face charges of deriving proceeds for prostitution and money laundering

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Two women were arrested Tuesday for running a prostitution service out of a Boca Raton business, according to authorities.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Sara Marin, 42, and Denise McCoy, 34, were arrested on charges of deriving proceeds for prostitution and money laundering.

Marin is the owner of Sara's Entertainment, which McCoy manages, authorities said.

Operating under the guise of an escort service, investigators said Sara's Entertainment, LLC is a criminal enterprise with its only mission to provide escorts for the purpose of prostitution. Investigators said they believe six escorts work for Sara's Entertainment.

Both women were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.

Search warrants were executed at two apartments Tuesday. Investigated said both apartments were rented by Sara's Entertainment and believed to be used for prostitution. The apartments are located at 9859 Boca Gardens Circle North and 22312 Calibre Court in Boca Raton. 

Search warrants were also executed at Marin's homes and McCoy's home, authorities said.

According to authorities, the five month investigation is on-going and additional arrests and charges are anticipated.
