State inspectors were busy again in South Florida last week. Seven restaurants were ordered shut due to violations that could pose a hazard to your health. Below is a list and some of the violations.

"6 Dead roaches on premises, throughout kitchen. Roach activity present as evidenced by 4 live roaches found crawling on floor by 3 compartment sink in kitchen, 5 live crawling on kitchen floor by ac unit, 8 plus in hallway leading to front service area, 2 crawling on floor by refrigerator in front service area."
777 N.W. 103RD STREET
"Roach activity present as evidenced by 12 live roaches found in the dish wash three compartment sink area on metal shelves that stored cleaned pots, pans and utensils. Dish wash room is located about eight feet from the kitchen, there is no door separating the kitchen from the dish wash area. Accumulation of black/green mold-like substance on/around soda dispensing nozzles."

"Roach activity present as evidenced by 4 live roaches found crawling over 3 compartment sink by chicken prep area, 3 crawling on shelf by clean dishes, 3 crawling on wall under 3 compartment sink in chicken prep area. Roach excrement and/or droppings present, on wall over 3 compartment sink in chicken prep area."

"Rodent activity present as evidenced by 30 dried rodent droppings found in the kitchen. Roach excrement and/or droppings present. On food prep hutch/table. Roach excrement and/or droppings present. On food prep hutch/table. Roach activity present as evidenced by 10 live roaches found in the kitchen on food prep hutch/ table. Employee began working with food, handling clean equipment or utensils, or touching unwrapped single-service items without first washing hands."
