3 charged in massage parlor prostitution

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Hallandale Beach police arrested two women accused of offering prostitution at a massage parlor and another accused of operating without a license.

Police arrested Yan Wang, Shu Yuan Sun, and Ying Zhao at MemeX Massage Parlor, located at 2500 E. Hallandale Beach Boulevard, on Wednesday.

Police reported receiving numerous complaints of sex acts, prostitution, and human trafficking at the massage parlor, according to an arrest affidavit. Several undercover officers said sexual acts were offered by employees in exchange for money.

Wang, the owner of the massage parlor, was charged with deriving support from proceeds of prostitution, unlicensed practice of health care, permit unlicensed person to practice massage, and receiving prostitution into the building.

Yuan Sun was charged with offering to commit or engage in prostitution. Zhao was charged with unlicensed practice of health care.
