3 charged with making moonshine

LANTANA, Fla. – Three people living in Palm Beach County are accused of making and selling moonshine.

State agents arrested Pawa, 23, following a three-month investigation in which investigators said they bought more than 40 gallons of moonshine from Pawa.

Pawa is charged with possession of moonshine over one gallon, conspiracy to violate beverage law,  possession of containers intended to be used to package alcoholic beverages, concealing beverages and possession of a firearm.

Michael Inman and Amanda Pouncey were also arrested Friday in connection with the case.

Inman, 26, is charged with possession of moonshine, conspiracy to violate beverage law, and moving or concealing beverages with intent to defraud state tax.

Pouncey, 26, is charged with possession of moonshine, conspiracy to violate beverage law, transportation of containers intended to be used to package alcoholic beverages, and moving or concealing beverages with intent to defraud state tax.

All thee suspects are being held at the Palm Beach County Jail.
