A Lauderhill church congregation remembered three parishioners killed when the van they were riding in rolled over Saturday.
The crash on Interstate 75 near Fort Myers killed 20-year-old Nostra Damas, 22-year-old Ose Elian, and 62-year-old Gertha Petit. The group from Maranatha Seventh-Day Adventist Church was headed to Tampa for a conference when the left rear tire blew, causing the driver to lose control.
Damas' sister, Melinda, was in the van. She suffered minor injuries.
"I was getting up, I saw three bodies," she said. "As I went closer, I saw my brother."
The Florida Highway Patrol said at least five others were in serious to critical condition.
