MIAMI – Saturday night's Powerball jackpot has vaulted to $300 million.
The folks at Powerball headquarters made that big announcement on Friday afternoon.

The winner will be eligible to take home a one-time $172 million lump-sum payment.
This will be the largest jackpot since Gloria C. MacKenzie, 84, of Zephyrhills, Fla. won $590.5 million in May.
