MIAMI -- Police say impatience may have led an elderly man to crash his car through the front of a store in southwest Miami-Dade Thursday afternoon.
Police say Emilio Leal, 88, got tired of waiting for his wife at a tile shop, so he stormed out of the store on Coral Way to wait in the car and listen to the radio.Officers say Leal then accidentally put the car in gear and hit one car, then put the car in reverse and hit four other parked cars before crashing into the store.
No one was injured. Leal was cited for careless driving.
