Santa Swims With Sharks In California, Skis Slopes In Maine

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Santa was spotted under the sea, swimming with sharks in Long Beach, Calif. this weekend.
Santa dove into the shark tank at the Aquarium of the Pacific hoping to get kids interested in marine life. In addition to seeing Santa, children watched as other animals were treated to special holiday treats, including icy candy canes and cookies.

And Santa hit the slopes in Portland, Maine, over the weekend as well. The downhill run was all in the name of charity.Nearly 200 skiers dressed as jolly old Saint Nick donated at least $10 to a local charity that purchases holiday gifts for needy children.The Santa skiers were treated to a free day on the slopes and a voucher for two more days of free skiing.
