4 guns were seized at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int'l Airport in the last week, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
TSA screeners said 3 of those 4 guns were loaded when they were stopped at FLL security checkpoints.
Screeners first stopped a 9mm automatic handgun on Dec.7. Then on Dec. 10, they stopped a loaded .38 special handgun. Screeners then stopped two guns on Dec. 11, a loaded .22 and an unloaded .45 caliber pistol.
No guns were found at Miami International Airport in the last week.
In all, TSA screeners stopped 29 guns from making it onto flights across the country in the last week. 21 of those guns were loaded.
