The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office issued about 675 citations and made five arrests Tuesday during a fake insurance sting.

The joint operation was done with law enforcement in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

Police targeted motorists with invalid insurance or fraudulent proof.

It is illegal to drive in the State of Florida without insurance or with a fake insurance card.
