5 ransack Target for electronics

iPads, Playstations, Beats by Dre headphones, laptop computers stolen

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Surveillance cameras captured five men stealing thousands of dollars worth of iPads, Sony Playstations, Beats by Dre headphones, and laptop computers from a Target store on Dec. 11.

The heist at 3599 W. Hillsboro Boulevard took them roughly five minutes.

The burglars arrived about 2:14 a.m., pried a fire exit door open, then used shopping carts and a flat cart to carry the stolen merchandise. By the time Broward Sheriff's deputies arrived, the burglars were gone.

In the surveillance video, the thieves dash around the store, grabbing electronics as they go. One carries a pry bar that investigators believe was used to smash the display cases.
