6 tossed off small boat during rough seas
Six people were rescued and pulled safely to shore after their small boat capsized near the Hillsboro Inlet.
Most of the people had on lifejackets.
There was no radio equipment on-board, so they were unable to send out a distress or emergency call.
A Seatow captain, who happened to be nearby, saw the boat run into trouble and jumped in to help.
"They started to slow down, started waving for help. It looked like the stern was starting to sink on them. Shortly after when I arrived on-scene, the boat was actually capsized. Two people were on top of the boat and four people in the water," said Seatow Capt. John See.
Officials said everyone on-board is expected to be okay.
The boat is still under water, but officials expect it to was ashore.
A number of small craft advisories had been issued because of the choppy seas.
