MIRAMAR, Fla. -

Miramar Police are looking for a knife-wielding thief who threatened a 7-Eleven clerk and got away with some cash from the register.

According to police, on May 18, at around 2:40 a.m., a man walked into the convenience store at 6350 Pembroke Road.

Surveillance cameras showed him walk up to the clerk and point a large knife at the clerk. He then ordered him to open the register, before grabbing cash and running out.

The Miramar Police Department is asking anyone with information to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
