MIAMI – A South Miami High School senior who survived an abduction and stabbing is returning to school.
Nelson Portobanco (pictured, right) lost his girlfriend, Ana Maria Angel, during the attack and was stabbed 15 times.

He's been talking with investigators for the past week while the five men suspected in the attack remain behind bars.
Portobanco and Angel were returning from a stroll on South Beach when they were kidnapped at gunpoint.
The five suspects beat and stabbed Portobanco then dumped him near Fort Lauderdale. according to investigators.
Angel's body was found in a car along I-95 in Boca Raton last week. The suspects were later arrested in Orlando.
