MIAMI -

Miami Police made an arrest two months after four people, including two teenagers, were shot in Little Haiti.

Barton Hill, 19, was charged Thursday with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted felony murder.  He was named a suspect in the shooting a few days afterwards.

Mackenson Pierre, 17, and Yves Sylvester, 15, were killed in the September shooting behind a home in the 100 block of Northeast 68th Terrace.

Witnesses told police Hill was at the party, was friends with the victims, and opened fire for no reason.

"They were friends. They were associates," said Miami Police Sgt. Confesor Gonzalez. "We haven't established exactly his motive. They were together, they knew each other, they associated. For some reason, Mr. Hill just opened up and shot."

Investigators spent hours questioning Hill. On his way to jail, he denied the charges.

"No I didn't," said Hill when asked if he killed two people. "They got the wrong person."

Police said Hill tried jumping out of a second story window to escape but was caught. Police are still searching for a second suspect.
