A training ride was held Saturday to prepare for the third annual Dolphins Cycling Challenge (DCC) in November.

Paul Castronovo, host of the "The Paul and Young Ron Morning Show," and his show producer, Steve Harmon, led Saturday's training ride.

"My wife and my father are both cancer survivors so I get it," said Castronovo. "Everyone has been touched by this so we are out doing our part."

The DCC is a two-day, tri-county charity event. Riders have the option of biking 30 miles or the full 170 miles.

The event is a collaborative effort between the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. 100% of the proceeds going to directly to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

In its first two years, the DCC has raised over $1.6 million for cancer research in South Florida.

The main event takes place November 3rd & 4th and is open to the public. To register, click here.
