Auction to benefit Gratigny Plateau Park closes

Miami Heat autographed ball, Publix catering auctioned

SOUTH FLORIDA ā€“ An auction benefitting Local 10's Making A Difference campaign to build Gratigny Plateau Park in Northwest Miami-Dade County closed Thursday evening.

The Miami Heat donated an official team basketball signed by all the players and coaching staff.Ā  Publix Super Markets donated a catering package for up to 20 people.Ā 

The basketball sold for $2,700. The catering package sold for $700.

Last week, we auctioned off a Romero Britto painting.

One hundred percent of funds raised will go to the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade and benefit Gratigny Plateau Park.

The Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade was founded in 2004 as a 501(c)3. The Foundation is leading efforts to maintain, improve and expand the assets of Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, as well as municipal park systems throughout Miami-Dade County.
