Broward Crime Stoppers are offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect responsible for the Jamaican Night fatal gold chain theft
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Kimberlyn Clarke died from injuries she suffered during a robbery at the Seminole Truck Stop.
It happened on Sept. 20 during Jamaican Night at the Cafe 27 on Griffin Road and U.S. 27 in Weston, just after 2 a.m.
BSO released surveillance video of the suspect believed to have caused the attack that left Clarke brain dead. The video shows the thief inside a truck stop convenience store about two hours before the robbery. In it, he is wearing a 2012 Ralph Lauren t-shift with the American flag on the front.
Other surveillance video shows the same man unleashing pepper spray on a crowd. He then snatches a man's gold chain from his neck.

In the chaos, 28-year-old Clarke fell and hit her head on the rear bumper of a van, never recovering from her injuries.
