FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

A band booster at Cypress Bay High School in Weston who was arrested, accused of molesting teenage boys, is heading to prison.

Michael Jacobs was in court Monday morning in Broward County, accepting a plea deal.

Jacobs pleaded guilty to 25 counts of lewd and lascivious conduct, lewd and lascivious behavior and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He was sentenced to seven years in prison, followed by 20 years of probation, and will be declared a sexual offender.

The charges stemmed from allegations that Jacobs committed the acts during sleepovers at his house with eight boys in July 2009.
