WILTON MANORS, Fla. -

A man with what appeared to be red dye on his clothing was arrested Friday morning in connection with a Wilton Manors bank robbery.

Police said a man robbed the Iberia Bank on Wilton Drive.

Before receiving the report of the robbery, Wilton Manors police said they saw a man in his 40s quickly leaving the parking lot of a convenience store and became suspicious. Officers found a bag of money and a dye pack in his lap, police said.

Police said they recovered some of the cash that was destroyed when the dye pack exploded.
