U.S. Marshals took a person barricading himself inside a home into custody Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened at 5401 NE 18th Avenue.

Fort Lauderdale Police said they assisted in establishing a perimeter in case the wanted person tried running away.

No other information was released.
