Police: body found along Deerfield shore

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -

A body was found in along the shoreline in Deerfield Beach early Friday morning.

Sky 10 flew above Northwest 21st Avenue as police roped off the area where the body was found.

Investigators would not immediately say if they had identified the victim, or if the victim was a male or female.

The Broward Sheriff's Office was handling the investigation.
