POLICE HAVE PUT OFF TIL TODAY ANY ATTEMPTS TO ENTER HOLMES'S APARTMENT -- ONE HE ALLEGEDLY RIGGED WITH EXPLOSIVES
It is a very vexing how to enter that apartment safely, I personally have never seen anything like what the pictures show us is in there, I see an awful lot of wires, trip wires and jars full of ammunition, jars full of liquid, some things that look like mortar rounds. We have a lot a challenges to get in there safely.

This popping started happening, I thought it was fireworks or firecrackers, someone playing a joke or something. Then some smoke started rising in the lower right corner of the theater.
At that moment I just remember thinking I'm not gonna die in here, me and my kids, we're not gonna die in here, I need to get them out, I need to get out
DESPITE THE TRAGEDY -- COLORADO'S GOVERNOR SAID THE COMMUNITY OF AURORA WILL RECOVER
We are clear that we are gonna rise back and lift ourselves above this.
