A 7-year-old Florida Panhandle boy is in the hospital after being mauled by two bulldogs.
The Bay County Sheriff's Office says the boy received severe bite marks in the Tuesday afternoon attack in the front yard of a house in Callaway.
The News Herald of Panama City reports the boy was taken to Bay County Sacred Heart Health System before being flown to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Pensacola Tuesday night.
Officials say the incident happened as the boy was riding his bike after school.
The boy's uncle told the newspaper the child would be OK because he's a "tough old bird."
