FORT LAUDERDALE ā€“ Testimony continued Thursday in the trial of a woman who survived a Deerfield Beach standoff, during which, police say, her husband shot and killed a man, stabbed her and two of her sons and then killed himself.

Broward Sheriff's Office Detective Adam Rubin interviewed the surviving child, 8-year-old Samson, who was 7 at the time, from the child's hospital bed at Broward Health Medical Center in the early morning hours after incident.

Local 10 obtained the transcript of the interview, which is as follows:

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Who had the gun?

Child Victim: My dad.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Okay, and what did your dad do?

Child Victim: He shot him like one time or two.

Detective Adam Rubin: Do you know where he shot him.

Child Victim: Like in the neck.

Samson then said his dad called the police. He said his father told them the "people on the radio" are "going to eat me, they are going to cook me."

He then told Det. Rubin that his father "cut" him.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: How did you get the cuts?

Child Victim: By my dad, he didn't want us to get eaten. He wanted us to go to the sky with other angels and stuff he didn't want me to get eaten.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Did you watch him cut you?

Child Victim: Yeah.

The child told Det. Rubin his father closed his eyes when he started to stab him and his brother. He saw his father stab his older autistic brother in the back. Samson made a point to mention how his older brother Josiah can't speak.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: After your dad stabbed you and stabbed your brother?

Child Victim: Yeah, then he went for my mom.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Then he went to your mom?

The child said his father stabbed his mother in the stomach.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: And what was your mom saying during all of this?

Child Victim: Nothing.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: She didn't say anything?

Child Victim: No.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: You have other wounds all over your body. How did all those come from your father?

Child Victim: Yeah.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Okay, um, at any time did you try to stop your father?

Child Victim: I was saying, "Please, no, please."

The seven-year-old said his father said he was sorry and crying as he continued to stab him. He said he wanted to drive away but couldn't because he doesn't know how.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: You know who the hero is here, right? Who?

Child Victim: Me.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: That's right. You're a brave kid...Did your mom have the knife at any time?

Child Victim: She, my dad had told her to hold it for him.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Your dad told your mom to hold the knife?

Child Victim: Yeah.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Did your mom use the knife?

Child Victim: No, she didn't want to.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: What was your mom doing while your dad was stabbing you with the knife?

Child Victim: Nothing.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Did your mom try to stop your dad?

Child Victim: No, she didn't do nothing. She had to sit down.

Detective Adam Rubin: Did your dad yell at your mom or tell your mom to sit down?

Child Victim: No.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: No?

Child Victim: She just sat down.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Did she have the opportunity to stand up?

Child Victim: If she wanted.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: If she wanted to?

Child Victim: Yeah.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: I see all these cuts on your body when your dad caused these correct?

Child Victim: Yeah.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: While your dad was causing these, what was your mom doing?

Child Victim: She was sitting down.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Okay, and when your dad was causing the injuries to your brother what was your mom doing?

Child Victim: Sitting down still.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Did she try to jump up and stop?

Child Victim: No.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Was she saying anything while this was happening?

Child Victim: Saying, "Please, no, stop it."

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Was she saying that when she was getting stabbed or was she saying that while you were getting stabbed?

Child Victim: While she was getting stabbed, one time she got stabbed, right here.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: Alright, you are pointing at your stomach.

The 7-year-old then says he attempted to drive away.

BSO Detective Adam Rubin: You sat down in the driver's seat? Okay and you tried to drive?

Child Victim: Yeah, but I couldn't.

After pleading for his life, the boy described how he grabbed the knife and tried to fight back.

Child Victim: I had the knife and said no more, he was looking for it. I had the knife and I want to throw it away out the window, I had the knife after he dropped it....then he grabbed it again, he went into bathroom and stabbed me like, three times again. Then he fell on the floor.

BSO Detective: Did your mom have the cut already before he stabbed you?

Child Victim: No, I was first.

BSO Detective: You're tough.

Child Victim: Yeah - like Samson.

BSO Detective: Oh, because your name is like Samson in the Bible and he was strong, right?

Child Victim: He knocked down buildings.

BSO Detective: That's a perfect name for you then....While all this was happening was your dad saying anything to you guys?

Child Victim: Yeah he was saying, "Go on with God."
