CNN: Miami woman no longer person of interest in Vegas shooting

A Miami woman is no longer considered a "person of interest" in last week's shooting along the Las Vegas strip.

Yenesis Alfonso, also known as Tineesha Howard, was originally thought to be riding in the car with 26-year-old Ammar Asim Faruq Harris.

CNN reports that police would not elaborate on Howard's connection, only that she is no longer wanted for questioning.

A woman claiming to be Howard's mother told CNN that her daughter and Harris have dated for about a year.

Just after 4 a.m. last Thursday, Kenneth Cherry, an aspiring rapper known as Kenny Clutch, was shot as he was driving down the Vegas strip. He proceeded to crash his Maserati into a taxi, which caught fire. The taxi driver, Michael Boldon, and a passenger, Sandra Sutton-Wasmund, were killed.

Cherry later died at the hospital. All three deaths were ruled homicides.

Police say Harris fired shots from a Range Rover. He is considered armed and dangerous.
