Construction continues on the I-595 Express Corridor Traffic Project

Interstate 595 construction will impact traffic on Flamingo Road, Hiatus Road, Commodore Drive, State Road 84

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

Portions of Interstate 595 will be closed this coming week as construction on the I-595 Express Corridor Traffic Project continues.

Commodore Drive, in both directions, at westbound State Road 84 will be closed through 5 p.m. Monday, August 6.

In addition, one lane of Flamingo Road, in each direction, at the I-595 overpass will be closed nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, July 23 and ending Friday, July 27.

Hiatus Road, in both directions, at the I-595 overpass will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, July 23 and ending Wednesday, July 25.

Southbound Hiatus Road at the I-595 overpass will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 25 to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 26.

One lane of southbound Hiatus Road at the I-595 overpass will be closed from 9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26 to 5 a.m. Friday, July 27.

Northbound Hiatus Road at the I-595 overpass will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday, July 26 to 5 a.m. Friday, July 27.

One lane of westbound SR 84 at Hiatus Road will be closed nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, July 24 and ending Friday, July 27.
