DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -

Divers rescued a person in a vehicle that drove into a lake in Deerfield Beach Wednesday night, according to authorities.

The victim was transported to Broward Health North, deputies said.

Broward Sheriff’s Office divers and Fire Rescue were searching the water for more victims, authorities said.

Florida Highway Patrol investigators were also at the scene of the accident, authorities said.
