HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Crews began repainting the water tower on Sheridan Street, just east of A1A, in Hollywood.
The white heron and sun illustration will be replaced with a new design with the words "Visit Hollywood Florida." Eastbound drivers will see a beach scene and westbound drivers will see mangroves.

City officials said the $15,000 new look will promote tourism.
Two years ago, the city painted the water tower along I-95 at Sheridan Street. The underwater scene earned a "Best Tank Design" award in 2011.
