The Department of Children and Families took four children into custody after Miami police arrested their parents.

Gabriel de Jesus Orellana and Renee Marie Garcia were arrested Thursday.

Miami police responded to their home after reported of the father beating one of the children and possibly offering the child to have sex with men.

Police set up an undercover operation. Police said Garcia offered to have sex with an undercover police officer in exchange for money.

Inside the home, the undercover officer saw a large amount of drug paraphernalia and the home in deplorable conditions.

The children were taken from a home in Miami. DCF said they were with a family member.

DCF said it has a history with the family.

Both Orellana and Garcia face several charges, including child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A dependency hearing is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
