NAPLES, Fla. -

A paramedic from Miami is under arrest, accused of stealing from a man he was supposed to be treating.

On Jan. 30, Donna Delmonico called for help in Naples because her husband Ralph Delmonico was having a medical issue.

Collier County Emergency Services personnel responded to the home on Pebble Shore Drive that morning. While being treated, Ralph Delmonico handed his wallet to the EMT staff. Donna Delmonico got the wallet back but said there was money missing from it.

The Delmonicos wanted to press charges and called sheriff's deputies.

After an investigation, paramedic Roger Alfonso, 27, was arrested on Tuesday and taken to the Naples Jail. He is charged with grand theft. A judge set bond for Alfonso at $2,500.
