Deputies: West Florida grow house busted

TAMPA, Fla. – There has been a major marijuana bust in West Florida, according to deputies.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies raided a Tampa home on Wednesday. They said they found 40 plants weighing more than 280 pounds of pot along with an irrigation and air circulation system.

Deputies estimated the pot is worth $840,000 on the street.

The drug house was just yards from a school.

Deputies arrested Elisabeth Guevara-Saavedra, 33, and Raudel Gonzalez-Mesa, 34 and Lexiel Dominiguez-Guevara, 18.

They are charged with possession of marijuana, manufacture of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, trafficking in marijuana and possession for purpose of trafficking.
