Two men are behind bars facing robbery charges after trying to rob a North Miami Beach 7-Eleven store.

The men entered the store at 15100 West Dixie Highway Wednesday morning.
One male, armed with a gun, jumped the counter while another watched at the door.

According to investigators, the suspect then demanded the clerk to open the safe and hand over the cash.  Both suspects got into a car and sped from the scene.

They were found a short time later hiding in the storage shed of a backyard.
Both suspects were bitten by K-9 units before the arrest and are behind held robbery charges.
