Drivers identified in I-75 fatal crash

Florida Highway Patrol has identified the drivers involved in a fatal crash on Interstate 75.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a Maria Pino lost control of her car, crossed over the median between Miami Gardens Drive and 138th Street, and collided head on into a box truck.

Pino, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the box, Alejandro Vazquez, 53, truck was taken to Palmetto General Hospital with minor injuries.
After the crash, troopers closed all southbound lanes and diverted traffic onto Florida's Turnpike until 9:15 p.m. Friday.
