Eastbound I-595 reopens after crash knocked down power lines
Hiatus Road remains closed after power lines crashed onto the busy roadway on Thursday afternoon.
However, two eastbound lanes on I-595 have been reopened.
According to FHP, a crane used in the roadway's construction knocked down the power lines.
Traffic was backed up for miles on I-595 during Thursday's rush hour.
There is no word yet on when Hiatus Road will reopen.
