The Florida Highway Patrol reopened a portion of Krome Avenue closed earlier because of smoky conditions due to a nearby brushfire.

Krome Avenue was closed from Southwest 88th Street to 136th Street for a short time Tuesday afternoon.

When Sky 10 arrived to the area about 3:45 p.m., the brushfire appeared to be out.

It's unclear what ignited the two-acre grass fire.
