Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at the Lauderhill Mall on Thursday afternoon.

The fire broke out toward the middle of the mall about 12:20 p.m.

When they arrived, firefighters reported seeing heavy smoke near the entrance.

People were forced to evacuate the mall. No injuries were reported.
