Broward County Fire Rescue quickly put out flames inside a Dania Beach apartment complex Thursday morning.

It started about 7 a.m. on Southwest 8th Avenue. Rescue crews say once they got on the scene it didn't take long to put out the fire.

The fire where the apartment started was a loss, said the Broward Sheriff's Office. Neighboring apartments also had smoke and water damage.

No injuries were reported.

It appears residents will be able to remain in the building. 

The fire is under investigation.
