Raccoon was dropped off at fire station with note

The Coral Springs Fire Department said firefighters had to cut the can off the raccoon's head in order to free it.

The raccoon had a note with it when it was dropped off at the fire station, asking someone to help it. The note was written as if the raccoon had written it.

"I was in the dumpster and got a soup can stuck on my head. It won't come off," read the note. "Please help me. Thank you, Rock."

It took a few tries, but firefighters were able to free the raccoon before it took off running into a nearby bush.
