7 Florida climbers take on Mount Kilimanjaro

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and a local group of women are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness.

It's called the Freedom Climb.

Tina Yeager is taking part in the climb. She first learned about human trafficking on a church mission trip to India, where she encountered a 3-year-old girl begging for money.

Tina and 46 other women are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to help ten thousand women; raising money for programs to help victims who have been exploited.

To see updates and watch a live feed once the climb gets started, you can check out Freedom Climb's blog.
