A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was uninjured after being involved in a two car accident on Interstate 95 Wednesday morning.

The accident happened just south of Hallandale Beach Boulevard just before 7 a.m.

FHP said the trooper was in the median checking for speeders. He clocked a car speeding and took off at it, but hit the side of another car.

The driver of the other vehicle wasn't injured.
