Early voting begins in Florida

MIAMI -

Early voting for Florida's presidential primary and list of local issues begins Saturday, January 21, running through Saturday, January 28. Florida's official primary date is Tuesday, January 31.

All registered voters, regardless of party affiliation, are eligible to vote for local issues on their county's ballot. Only registered republicans are eligible to cast a vote for a republican presidential candidate.

There are issues on every ballot where voters can make their voice heard. Topics stem from the mayors race in Fort Lauderdale to charter amendments in Miami-Dade county.
