Here's a ranking Miami doesn't need.
Forbes magazine has named the Magic City the most miserable city in America.
Why so? Forbes looked at 10 factors for their ranking: violent crime, unemployment, foreclosures, and taxes to name a few. Commute times and weather also played a factor in the ranking.
Forbes sites Miami as a great place to live for the "haves" such as Miami Heat superstar LeBron James and singer Enrique Iglesias. But for the "have nots," whose home price is down 41% in the past three years and among the 364,000 properties in Miami under foreclosure, it's not so great.
South Florida politics was also taken into consideration, mentioning the recall of former Miami-Dade mayor Carlos Alvarez.
Here's a look at the top five cities also living in misery:
1. Miami
2. Detroit, Michigan
3. Flint, Michigan
4. West Palm Beach
5. Sacramento, California
