"Mother of an autistic 9 year old contacted the Davie Police Department regarding physical abuse of her son by his teacher," said Broward Circuit Court Judge John Hurley.

Baier was accused of placing the child on the floor and somehow causing him physical harm, according to court documents.

Baier was arrested in August 2012. He was accused of slamming a 12-year-old autistic boy to the ground.

Police said after Baier's first arrest, more families with students at the school accused him of abuse.

"I think this latest arrest furthers the fact that this school condones and continued to allow David Baier to physically harm these children," Elias Hilal, the victims' attorney, said in a statement.

Hilal represents five families who filed a lawsuit against the school since Baier's first arrest last year. Police have only filed charges in two cases.

No comment was immediately available from the school as of late Monday. An attorney representing Baier declined comment.
